When I first got my jewelry tools... Now the drawers look completely different and have transformed as I use the tools and they got arranged according to my working habits. No pictures of how they look now though.
Piercing for the first time
Began with a rod, had a taste of forging a spoon and then went on to make a ladle. It is for my grandmother who ferments berries in tall jars.
Overview of projects in progress.
Filing a letter opener from a solid brass rod. Also pierced out geometric forms and finished with polishing the tip.
Build a container! Paper prototype and final metal version that has some changes in design.
Raising! A raised set inspired by the form, texture and the nesting of abalone shells.
Initial form raised from a wooden dye I made.
Building the entire brooch with tubes. Cutting the tube in different angles to form pattern inspired by snake skin.
Exploration of link building. Made a choker!
Raise a cup!
Fill the cups with plastic, heat up to melt the plastic and form the cups while the plastic is not yet entirely solid. The forming of the lid and the cup needs to happen simultaneously to make sure the forms fit.
Oops... gloves stuck on there when I was trying to remelt and remove the plastic.
Immersed in liver of sulfur and then sand off some parts of patina.
